Business Development Executive – Education Sector

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to contribute significantly to our business expansion initiatives within the Thai market. This pivotal role encompasses the strategic advancement of our EduTour programs, the proactive acquisition of student enrollments, the cultivation and oversight of our agent network, and the implementation of impactful marketing strategies for our suite of EdTech solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in broadening our professional connections, nurturing collaborative partnerships, and effectively promoting our diverse educational offerings to prospective clients throughout Thailand. A key aspect of this position involves the energetic pursuit of new business opportunities and the consistent achievement of performance objectives established by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming inquiries regarding educational tour programs in Singapore, working in close collaboration with the Singapore-based team.
  • Formulate and implement proactive approaches to introduce and promote educational tour offerings to prospective Thai partner organizations.
  • Proactively identify and onboard new educational recruitment agencies within Thailand to expand our reach.
  • Nurture and maintain strong, productive relationships with both newly established and long-term agent partners.
  • Design and deploy effective strategies and resources to seamlessly integrate new agents and foster their active participation.
  • Spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing student enrollment from Thailand across our diverse portfolio of educational programs.
  • Cultivate meaningful connections with educational institutions, organizations, and prospective students to facilitate program uptake.
  • with internal teams to champion the adoption of innovative learning technology solutions among Thai clientele.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies designed to broaden the market presence and sales of our EdTech offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record (minimum 1-2 years) in roles encompassing marketing strategy, educational partnership development, student enrollment management, or EdTech solution promotion.
  • Existing professional relationships within the Thai education market, encompassing schools, agencies, and academic institutions, are highly desirable.
  • Exhibits a proactive, high-energy approach with a strong inclination to independently identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Possesses significant self-drive and the capacity to operate autonomously, effectively managing responsibilities and demonstrating independent initiative.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the Thai educational system, its key stakeholders, and the prevailing cultural context.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with proven negotiation skills to effectively build relationships and secure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Proven ability to function effectively both as an independent contributor and as a collaborative member within a team structure.
  • Fluency in both Thai and English languages (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
