An international firm that produces and sells building products and has a good plan to establish and expand into Thailand is looking for a passionate Sales Manager South East Asia to take on the responsibilities that are listed below.
Major Responsibilities:
- Distribution Management:
- Oversee and manage existing distributor relationships within the SEA region.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with distributors to ensure efficient and effective distribution of products.
- Collaborate with distributors to meet sales targets and objectives.
- New Business Development:
- Identify and assess potential new distributors or channels to expand the company’s market presence.
- Implement strategies to onboard and nurture new distributor relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats within the industry.
- Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Building Materials Expertise:
- Leverage expertise in building materials to position our products effectively in the market.
- Stay informed about industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the leadership team on sales performance and market dynamics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in distribution management, preferably within the building materials industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in an international context.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed within the SEA region.
