Our client, a prominent real estate developer renowned for its portfolio of luxurious developments, is currently seeking a dynamic professional for the role of Assistant Finance Manager. This position is based in Bangkok and reports directly to the Executive Committee and Project Director.
Responsibilities:
- As the Finance Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the accounting, finance, and tax functions of the joint venture company, including the joint venture holding company. Your responsibilities extend to supervising the finance department to ensure seamless operations and effective financial management.
- Overseeing the preparation of financial and statutory reports for the joint ventures in compliance with local accounting standards, aligning them with the Group’s accounting policies for reporting purposes.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in submitting treasury reports and financials to the shareholders’ Group reporting systems, where applicable.
- Coordinating and preparing budgets and forecasts for the joint ventures, aligning project assumptions with the business plan at the joint venture level.
- Planning and coordinating with shareholders’ Treasury teams for funding of shareholder loans and capital injections into the joint ventures.
- Managing project financing in collaboration with respective shareholder treasury teams, ensuring compliance with loan covenants and undertakings.
- Coordinating and presenting finance, tax, and treasury updates to the Joint Venture Executive Committee and Board during their respective meetings.
- Ensuring that finance, tax, and SOP implementation policies of the joint ventures adhere to leading practices and shareholders’ Group policies.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate secretarial and tax matters, overseeing regulatory filings accurately and on time.
- Reviewing all financial and accounting information and documents for accuracy.
- Liaising with banks for external loans, negotiating with tax officers for declarations, and engaging with internal and external auditors for accounting matters.
- Handling other ad-hoc finance matters as they arise.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should hold a CPA or CPD licens
- Demonstrating a strong foundation in finance and accounting principles.
- This role requires a seasoned professional with the ability to lead and manage complex financial operations effectively.
- Fluent command in English.
