Technical Manager – Food Ingredients

Location: Pathumthani

We are supporting a well-established international company in the food ingredients industry, recognized for its innovation and high-quality product portfolio. With a strong presence across global markets, the organization is expanding its regional team and seeking a passionate and strategic R&D leader to drive innovation, team collaboration, and business alignment across Asia.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Support & Collaboration:
    Ensure the right balance between technical support and business opportunities in close partnership with Sales and Business Development teams.
  • Team Management & Development:
    Lead and develop the Food Application Specialist to align with the company’s focus segments. Assign, manage, and oversee projects and day-to-day responsibilities to ensure high performance and alignment with business goals.
  • Team Cohesion & Culture:
    Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, encouraging unity and effective teamwork across the regional office.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum 8–10 years of R&D experience in the food industry, preferably in food ingredients (experience with starch is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of ingredients, their applications, and processing techniques
  • Hands-on experience and technical knowledge in the bakery and snack segments preferred
  • Effective presentation and training skills
  • Clear and impactful communication style, with strong active listening skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across international teams and with external partners
  • High proficiency in English and strong cross-cultural communication skills
  • Self-driven, growth-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit
