Finance & Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting department to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for accurate and timely financial management reports, including financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and taxation for management review
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendation to support strategic business decisions, for investment needs, expansion, operations and other financial conditions
  • Provide advice to department heads concerning financial matters for operation cost improvement
  • Lead, guide, and manage the annual budgeting process, collaborating closely with department heads to gather input and develop detailed budgets
  • Supervise and coach the finance and accounting team to achieve KPIs
  • Coordinate with external parties, i.e. Revenue Department, bank contact, including audit firms to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance/ Accounting/ Financial Management/ MBA
  • A professional qualification with a CPA is preferable.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting functions, preferably with background in Financial Planning and Analysis or Financial Business Partner roles
  • Be able to handle multi-tasks with tight deadline
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Good interpersonal relationship, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
