Client Background:
The client is a leading manufacturer of food grade chemical, used in various industries such as detergents, paint and coatings, and water treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Plant maintenance: ensure implementation of instruments maintenance of DSC, packing machine, drum filling machine, PABX and other instrumentation installations.
- Cost control: check and control maintenance expenditure for the assigned area so that requisite maintenance is carried out within the allotted budget.
- Improvement/ Modifications: Review and identify areas of improvement based on breakdown and shutdown to enhance plant availability and thus overall effectiveness.
- Work environment and safety: ensure implementation of maintenance activities so as environment and safety system & procedure are adhered to and safe & accident-free workplace is maintained.
- MIS report & documentation.
- People development for team members.
- Inspection and quality control.
Requirement:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering – instrumentation or related field.
- More than 8 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Good – excellent in English communications.
