Business Launching Manager

We are searching for an independent & talented candidate to be assigned to the Business Launching Manager position. The successful candidates will be responsible for proposing and executing the company’s entry into Thailand. In time, you will be expected to expand, lead, and manage a team across various business functions to establish the company on a solid footing in Thailand. The role requires the qualities of an exceptionally strategic, resourceful, and highly driven professional.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the development of long-term organizational strategy.
• Actively engaging local regulators and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
• Conducting research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc.
• Aligning departmental goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy.
• Ensuring product and process improvements are communicated to HQ team in a timely and organized manner
• Assessing market trends and competitors.
• Identifying threats and opportunities.
• Establishing and developing strategic relationships with external partners that are value-creating and would accelerate market growth
• Communicating with Operation Leads from other regions to ensure that knowledge gained, and best practices are implemented in Thailand.
• Aligning departmental goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy.
• Becoming the face of the company’s leadership in Thailand, representing the organization in all local communications and media
• Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of working management in technology companies, start-ups, or consulting firms
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, or MBA
• Strong business acumen with a data-driven mindset from prior analytical experience
• Willingness to be hands-on and exert yourself for the business and flourish in a fast-paced high-intensity start-up environment
• A strong sense of initiative and resourcefulness to identify and resolve problems even before they surface
• Ability to work independently and be an excellent team player who keeps the HQ abreast of latest developments
